Serena was challenged in the semis while Henin cruised.

Justine Henin might have expected her semifinal match to be her most challenging, but in the end she had her least challenging match of the entire tournament on Thursday.  Henin whizzed by Jie Zheng in the Australian Open semifinal 6-1, 6-0.

The straight sets loss by Zheng proves that she was in a weak part of the draw in Melbourne and, as a semifinalist, was simply representing a section of the draw where no serious contender stepped-up to play.  Henin is now poised to take down the 2010 Australian Open, although Serena Williams will still have her say.

Williams advanced in a much tighter match against Na Li and the final, Serena Williams vs Justine Henin, may decide who is the number 1 player in the world.......if only by popular opinion (Henin cannot overtake Williams regardless of the result as she, Henin, has not been active on tour long enough since coming back from retirement to have anything close to the needed ranking points).
