While betting on the Australian Open is really heating up, why not get some money in for Roland Garros right now?

While everyone is looking at the odds and prices for the Australian Open, now might also be a good time to get some picks in on the French or at least take notice of the odds. 

Justine Henin dominated the French Open before she took a break from professional tennis almost two years ago.  Since then it has been Ana Ivanovic, who hardly looks threatening now, and Svetlana Kuznetsova, who might reasonably repeat as a champion there.

But now that we have seen Henin compete against top level competition again, we know that she is as tough as ever as she almost took down WTA Brisbane last week.  Henin, like all players returning from a long layoff, was a question mark but now she has to be considered a legitimate threat on tour for all titles and may be a top 5 player again by this time next year.

A price for Justine Henin for the French Open championship is available with either Paddy Power or Stan James.  Both of those sites offer Henin at a price of +175 (7/4) to take down the title.

With an implied probability of 36.36% against a field of 127 other players, Henin's odds are really tough to bet.

In this case you might want to wait on Henin as her odds may lengthen nicely should she falter in Australia before the semis.
