Del Potro and Davydenko both won titles at the 250 level last week and each player saw an improvement with Monday's rankings.
Juan Martin Del Potro and Nikolay Davydenko can both hope to be seeded at the 2011 French Open later this month as each of them made a pretty big jump with Monday's updated ATP rankings.
Del Potro jumped up 14 spots with his title from ATP Estoril and he is now ranked 32nd on the ATP Tour. That is a far cry from his career high ranking of world number four from late 2009 however the Argentine, if healthy, is likely to get back into the top 10 before season's end.
Davydenko won his first title in over a year at ATP Munich and as a result the Russian jumped up to world number 28. Davydenko has been cold for several months but if he is a hot he has more than enough talent to do plenty of damage in the upcoming clay court tournaments as he's twice made the French Open semifinals.
Big droppers in the top 100 include Ernests Gulbis (-31) who is now down to 64th and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (-4) who is now out of the top 20 for the first time since the January 14th, 2008 rankings.
The Madrid Masters take place this week and the results there promise to shake up the rankings more than the three 250 level tournaments could.
