Jelena Jankovic has a tough first round against Alisa Kleybanova tonight in San Diego.

Jankovic will just be hoping she can stay injury free for a extended period of time at the moment. The world number two plays a gruelling schedule of tournaments, racking up the air miles and it is starting to tell on her body. These two are 2-2 in the head-to-head with Kleybanova winning twice in 2009 but Jankovic had taken both their matches this year. She won 4-6, 6-4, 6-0 in the Fed Cup and then 6-4, 6-4 in the Indian Wells quarters.

However Jankovic is someone who plays her best tennis when she has a lot of matches under her belt which is not the case at the moment so Kleybanova could be a good pick for the upset here.
