Britain's James Ward offers home fans a slim hope of success on day two of Wimbledon 2011.
Ward is Britain's best hope for a second representive in the second round of the men's singles alongside Andy Murray. The big serving 24 year old may only be ranked 176 but he enjoyed a fantastic run at Queens a fortnight ago, taking out Stanislas Wawrinka and Sam Querrey en route to the last four.
He feels he has the game to hurt anyone on grass but this is a tough ask for the Londoner. Llodra's game is tailor-made for the surface with his huge lefty serve, athletic volleying ability and flat groundstrokes. He won the Eastbourne title last year but oddly enough he has never played to his peak at Wimbledon.
Despite competing at the All England Club almost every year since 2000, Llodra has never made it past the second round which suggests Ward has an outside chance of an upset.
Ward will need one of the best serving displays of his career and it may prove too much for him over five sets but as he showed at Queens, this is one British wildcard not to be underestimated.
