Milos Raonic and Grigor Dimitrov are two players with a bright future on the ATP Tour and they are into the top 100 for the first time.

Milos Raonic made the 4th round of 2011 Australian Open in January and as a result he has ascended quite significantly in the ATP rankings. Raonic picked up 180 ranking points and with his efforts he is now ranked inside the top 100 as the new rankings (January 31st, 2011) place him at 94th.

Raonic was the biggest ascender of the participants in the men's 2011 Australian Open as he jumped 58 places between January 17th and January 31st.

Other noteworthy players to make big leaps include Grigor Dimitrov, the 19 year old Bulgarian, who jumped up 20 spots to 85th with a second round performance. Lithuanian Richard Berankis, 20 years old, jumped up 22 spots to world number 73.

On the flip side of the young ascenders are the descending veterans and Lleyton Hewitt, who will turn 30 in February, sunk 14 spots to 68th with his first round loss at Melbourne Park. Meanwhile Fernando Gonzalez, who is 30, missed the Australian Open with an injury and he dropped 29 spots after failing to duplicate his 4th round appearance from last season.
