Gilles Simon prepares to make his Queen’s Club debut on Wednesday, taking on wildcard Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria in round two of AEGON Championship.
Simon, seeded third at the tournament, is hoping to boost his season following a poor season thus far, including a poor showing at the French Open.

The 24-year-old Frenchman heads into the Queen’s Club event with a 20-17 record for the season, securing only one quarterfinal-round berth in his last seven tournaments. Simon advanced to the final eight in Estoril before falling to Spaniard Albert Montanes.
Simon holds a 1-0 advantage in the head to head series with Dimitrov. The pair last met in Marseille last February, with Simon snapping up a hard-fought victory in the opening round, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5.
Grigor Dimitrov is currently ranked 361st in the world, with his most noteable result being when he pushed World No. 1 Rafael Nadal to three sets at the tournament in Rotterdam.
