Hantuchova was handed a lifeline in round one, saving several match points before going on to defeat sixth seed Marion Bartoli. The Slovak will be hoping to take full advantage especially with Jelena Jankovic now out.
Hantuchova looked very good in a 6-2, 6-1 win over two-time slam semi-finalist Zheng Jie in round two. It was a scrappy baseline duel but Hantuchova's greater weight of shot gave her the edge.
Kleybanova had a good record against top seed Jankovic going into their second round clash and with Jankovic struggled on her return from another injury, the Russian capitalised, coming back from 4-0 down in the first set to win 7-5, 6-2.
They have played once before with Kleybanova winning 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 at Wimbledon 2008. This one is a tough match to call but Hantuchova is probably favourite to progress.
