Canada's Daniel Nestor has won his 7th career Grand Slam title as he and Max Mirnyi won the 2011 French Open men's doubles tournament.

Daniel Nestor of Canada, 38 years old, captured his third career French Open doubles title on Saturday as he and teammate Max Mirnyi defeated the unseeded team of Juan Sebastian Cabal and Eduardo Schank.

Schank and Cabal were able to take the middle set off of the more experienced doubles players however Nestor and Mirnyi won 7-6, 3-6, 6-4.

Nestor was a returning champion in the event however last season he participated in the tournament with Serbia's Nenad Zimonjic. The two ended their partnership soon after the 2010 French Open.

For Nestor the title is the 7th Grand Slam title of his career all of which have been won in doubles. For the 33 year old Mirnyi the Grand Slam doubles title in the 5th of his career.
