Caroline Wozniacki will be hoping to maintain her strong start to the Danish Open against Iveta Benesova on Thursday.

Wozniacki looked in fine form on Tuesday in front of her home fans at the inaugural Danish Open, comfortably defeating talented teenager Petra Martic 6-3, 6-2. Wozniacki will be hoping to end a lean patch of form this week, she has not reached a WTA semi-final since April which is a little disappointing by her standards.
She next plays big hitting Czech Benesova, who took out lucky loser Elena Bovina in straight sets in the first round. Benesova has the potential to end the party early this week and Wozniacki is well aware of the threat she poses.
"She's a great player. She's playing aggressively trying to take the ball early," the world number four said, looking ahead to the match. "It's not going to be an easy match for me and she's a player that definitely could have been seeded here with the level she's playing. I'm just going to enjoy myself out there and enjoy that I have the crowd behind me."
However Wozniacki should make the quarters here. Last time she competed in her home country she won a title (a challenger event two years ago) and she will be hoping to repeat that this week.
