Caroline Wozniacki sent a warning shot to her rivals at the US Open 2010 with a stunning second round whitewash of Taiwan's Kai-Chen Chang.

Wozniacki is in the form of her life, winning back to back titles in Montreal and New Haven and she's taking to the pressure of being top seed with aplomb. So far she has dropped just two games in two matches.

The hapless Chang could only keep the Dane on court for just 47 minutes and was comprehensively overpowered. Wozniacki's baseline game has grown and grown in potency over the past six months and with her defensive skills as sublime as ever, she's developing into a real force. 

Many of Wozniacki's supporters were concerned about the prospect of a fourth round clash with Maria Sharapova but on the evidence so far, Wozniacki would go into that one as strong favourite. Sharapova toiled to a three set win over Jarmila Groth on Tuesday.
