Old rivals Arnaud Clement and Michael Llodra clash in the final of the Orleans Challenger on Sunday.
Clement has enjoyed a superb week, taking out top seed and Shanghai Masters semi-finalist Feliciano Lopez in straight sets in the opening round. Lopez was the overwhelming favourite for the title on paper but whether it was jetlag or simply a poor performance, he was far from his best as Clement eased to a 6-4, 7-5 win. The veteran Frenchman has progressed through to the final without dropping a set, seeing off talented young Lithuanian Richard Berankis 6-3, 6-4 in Saturday's semis although he did benefit from some dodgy calls towards the end of the match.
Llodra may be ranked 33 in the world but he's short on tour level wins at the moment and with plenty of points to defend at the Paris Masters in a few weeks time, he opted for a wildcard into the main draw here and it's been a confidence boosting week.
He edged a close semi-final against hard hitting Andreas Beck 7-6(4), 5-7, 6-3 but apart from that he hasn't been tested all week.
Clement may be ranked 128 places lower but he leads 5-0 on the head-to-head and won 6-3, 6-4 when they met in Metz last month. Look for that streak to continue.
