Tipsarevic does have a chance to win this match but his odds for that event still aren't quite long enough.

Andy Roddick and Janko Tipsarevic have met a couple times in the past and the two players have split their two previous meetings.  They will meet again tonight in the second round of the 2010 US Open and Roddick is the odds on favorite to win priced at -500 (1/5) with Boylesports.

Tipsy has been playing reasonably well lately as he made a deep run at the ATP Washington event in August before suffering an early injury in Toronto that forced him to miss Cincinnati.  He is priced at +450 (9/2) with SportingBet and those odds have to be judged short as Tipsarevic has never really had any significant success in Flushing Meadows before.

In fact his first round win was just his second career match-win in Flushing Meadows despite the fact that this is his 7th appearance overall and he is a tour veteran.

Our recommendation si to take Roddick at -500 (1/5) to beat Tipsarevic as the Serbian player just does not play his best tennis at this point in the year.
