Andy Murray has his sights set for just one man in next week's Wimbledon final, world No.2 and bookmakers favourite Roger Federer.

The British No.1 Andy Murray begins his bid for the Wimbledon title against American Robert Kendrick on Centre Court today. Meanwhile Federer can set a new record of 15 Grand Slam crowns by claiming his sixth Wimbledon title on July 5th.

But Murray, 22, who is seeded in the Wimbledon draw to meet Roger Federer in the final, revealed that his perfect Wimbledon scenario would be gaining revenge for his defeat in the US Open final last September by facing Federer in the Wimbledon final.

"If I could pick right now and I was for sure going to win it, I would chose beating Federer in the Wimbledon final," Murray said.

Murray added: "This year the support is going to be even better because I believe I can win Wimbledon and I think maybe a lot of other people believe I can."

Andy Murray is currently at odds of 7/4 from Ladbrokes to win Wimbledon, whilst favourite Federer is available at odds of 4/6.
