Djokovic and Federer may be the favorites but one of our staff writers offers his explanation on why he's picking Murray.
bet365 are offering online coverage of the 2010 ATP Paris Masters in their live streaming section.
Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic are the favorites heading into the 2010 ATP Paris Masters and that is partly due to the fact that Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from the tournament.
Nadal is expected back for the ATP World Tour Finals later this month but for the time being he is recovering from tendonitis.
Andy Murray is the third favorite to win in Paris and he was part of the ATP Valencia draw this past week. Having crashed out early in that tournament you have to wonder if that will help him at the Paris Masters as, of the three favorites, he's the one that will be freshest when the tournament begins.
With that in mind here are the three favorites to win the 2010 Paris Masters:
Murray has won two Masters hard court tournaments already this year as he won ATP Shanghai and ATP Toronto. While he is upset prone in the early rounds should Murray face either Djokovic or Federer, you have to believe that Murray will come through as Fed and Djokovic will be tired, especially in the late rounds in Paris.
Odds of +800 are more than fair on Murray even in consideration of the risk involved and he is my recommendation for value to win the Paris Masters.
