Following Andy Murray’s impressive display to beat James Blake and clinch his first grass-court title, Sky Bet have revealed some special odds and markets for Andy Murray at Wimbledon and the US Open.
Skybet are offering 11/1 that the British number one goes on to win both Wimbledon and the US Open this year. The 22-year-old Scot’s next tournament is Wimbledon starting on the 22nd June and Murray is 11/4 (from 3/1) to claim his first Grand Slam title there.
Sky Bet’s Tim Reynolds said:
“Murray’s win at Queens would have done his confidence the world of good ahead of Wimbledon but with defending champion Rafael Nadal and five-time winner Roger Federer standing in Murray’s way, the Scot will have to produce his best tennis to date to claim his first ever Grand Slam title.”
With Wimbledon just around the corner, Skybet are offering a number of tennis betting specials including, 9/2 that Murray and Federer contest the final, 5/6 that one of the Williams sisters lifts the ladies title and 5/1 that a British woman reaches the fourth round of the women’s singles.
