Following his defeat to the reinvented American, Andy Murray has backed ANdy Roddick to beat Roger Federer in the Wimbledon final.

Murray suggested that Roddick should not be written off in the Wimbledon final despite the American having lost 18 of his 20 matches with the Swiss world number 2.

"If he serves like he did today, he has a chance," said Murray.

"He was serving very close to the lines and hitting in the high 70s. There's not a lot you can do about that." Murray added.

Murray said the outcome of the Wimbledon semi-final matc between himself and Roddick came down to just a few key points.

"I thought I played well. I had fewer unforced errors (20-24), made more aces (25-21) and hit more winners (76-64) but it came down to just a few points on his serve," said Murray.

Andy Roddick, who played an old fashioned serve and volley style against Murray will play Foger Federer in the Wimbledon final. You can watch free live streams of Roddick vs Federer with bet365's free live streaming service.
