Andy Murray has asked for fan power to inspire him to become Britain's first Wimbledon men's winner since Fred Perry in 1936.

Murray mania is about to hit the country and Murray insists it will give him the edge over tougher rivals and bring him his first ever Grand Slam title.

Andy Murray is desperate to use the home crowd's vocal support to get his hands on the All England Club trophy at Wimbledon.

"Last year I felt that I could win Wimbledon, but I just wasn't ready to do it. I feel I am ready now. Coming to Wimbledon this year I believe I can win." said a confident Andy Murray.

"I am ready both physically and mentally. I feel my game's there. The support of the crowd will make a huge difference." Murray continued

"It makes it a lot easier in the third and fourth hour of a match to stay focused. It gives you an extra push if the crowd are behind you." Murray added.
