The Teen Queen could make the semifinals this year.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova is the highest ranked teenager on the WTA tour and her draw has opened up due to Victoria Azarenka's withdrawal from the tournament.

Pavlyuchenkova will face Gisela Dulko in a section of the draw that has Francesca Schiavone as the top seed before the quarters.

Pavlyuchenkova is not just a potential star any longer and she is capable of making a deep run at Flushing Meadows.

There is a possible 4th round match-up against Melanie Oudin brewing and as hyped as Oudin is at the US Open, Pavlyuchenkova is a better player.  Should Pavlyuchenkova win her 4th round match she could defeat Venus Williams in the quarters as the Russian has multiple career victories over the American already.

Pavlyuchenkova is +3300 (33/1) to win the 2010 US Open with bet365 and she is currently considered the tournament's 10th favorite as the field continues to winnow down.  If she were to make the final - it would not be a total shock as she is considered a future star on tour and the future can arrive fast in women's tennis.
