Schiavone and Pavlyuchenkova are both dangerous in the draw in Flushing Meadows.

Francesca Schiavone, a veteran who is playing in her 41st consecutive Slam, will face the current Teen Queen of tennis in the 4th round of the US Open, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.

Currently Schiavone is +6600 (66/1) with BoyleSports to win the title outright and those odds should NOT be scoffed out.  There are 7 players who are Slam-less, that are considered better favorites than Schiavone including Kaia Kanepi and Vera Zvonareva - two players that do not have much of a chance to win the title in New York.

Pavlyuchenkova is best priced at +2500 (25/1) with BoyleSports and there is a plausible scenario that could see her seize a semifinal spot.

She is favored to beat Schiavone and then Pavlyuchenkova would likely face Venus Williams.  Importantly, the Teen Queen has multiple career victories over V. Williams so perhaps a semifinal appearance is beckoning the Russian.

Normally when you can get someone at +2500 (25/1) who you can put close to finish line you want to take a risk on them and hope that something opens up for them so that a shocker can cash in.

Our recommendation is to sprinkle both Schiavone and Pavlyuchenkova at this time with Boylesports.
