This is an intriguing clash as Kleybanova has just claimed her second title of 2010 in Seoul while Ivanovic crashed out in the first round in three sets. However the former world number one has started to look more like her old self this summer, making the last four in Cincinnati and the fourth round of the US Open.
Kleybanova has been a problem opponent for Ivanovic in the past, knocking her out of the 2009 Aussie Open and this year's French Open. Ivanovic got just three games against the Russian in a second round drubbing at Roland Garros and was also outplayed by her in the Fed Cup earlier this year.
However when they met in Stanford at the start of the summer, Ivanovic's game finally started to click again and she raced away with a 6-3, 6-2 win.
Our feeling is that this one could be a fairly tight match but Kleybanova's confidence will be soaring after winning the Seoul title and that could swing it for her.
