Alexandr Dolgopolov is set to take on Philipp Kohlschreiber on Wednesday in the second round of the ATP Paris MastersYou can watch and bet on the Paris Masters live for free at bet365 > live tennisAlexandr Dolgopolov is the fourteenth seed in this week’s Paris Masters, and he’ll be looking to finish his successful 2011 season with a bang. The world No. 17 enters this tournament in a bit of a rut though, after losing his last four matches. He’s got the ability to turn things around, and his first opponent here, Philipp Kohlschreiber, will need to be on song on Wednesday.
Kohlschreiber entered this event as a qualifier, and made an ideal start in the first round of the main draw by dismissing Mikhail Youzhny in straight sets (6-4, 6-2). The German has racked up plenty of wins in recent weeks, but these have mostly occurred against weaker opponents and on the Challenger Circuit.
Dolgopolov is considered the favourite to win this contest, despite the fact that he lost to Kohlschreiber earlier in the season in Halle (6-3, 7-6(5)). Kohlschreiber eventually won the title there. This time around, on a different surface, Dolgopolov should succeed, but he’s by no means guaranteed the win.
