Bogdanovic can be very dangerous on grass on his day and made the third round of this tournament three years ago, coming narrowly close to defeating Andy Roddick.

The talented left-hander came through qualifying this year and made a bright start against wild card Dimitrov when their match began on centre court yesterday, taking the first set 6-4. However with the match interrupted by multiple rain delays, both players found it hard to establish a rhythm in set two and it was Dimitrov who snatched control with some heavy hitting to level the match.

With Bogdanovic leading 2-1 on serve in the decider, play was called off for the day.
