Agnieszka Radwanska has made it through to this week’s Mercury Insurance Open quarter-finals without losing a set, and is currently playing with the kind of confidence that could win her a first WTA title of the season. Her third round demolition of Christina McHale (6-1, 6-0) has surely sent out a message to the rest of the field.

Radwanska’s next contest will be against eighth seed Daniela Hantuchova. Hantuchova opened her campaign here with a superb 6-1, 6-3 win over Barbora Zahlavova Strycova, but had to put in a lot more effort to get past Jie Zheng in the third round (6-2, 4-6, 6-4).

Radwanska will enter this matchup with a 4-2 head to head record against Hantuchova, having won her last two matches against the Slovakian. Whilst the momentum appears to be with the world No. 13, Hantuchova should be competitive, and this promises to be a thrilling encounter.
