ATP Zagreb final – Marin Cilic v Michael Berrer

Marin Cilic is hoping to defend his Zagreb title when he faces Michael Berrer on Sunday.

Cilic will be hoping to continue his brilliant recent form which has taken him into the world’s top ten for the first time, and claim his second title of the year.

Cilic has yet to drop a set this week and has done well against dangerous opponents in Ivo Karlovic and Jurgen Melzer. Both the latter duo were dispatched 7-6, 6-4.

Berrer has also yet to drop a set and he has continued his form from last week where he won a challenger in Germany. He’s been playing solid tennis all week, taking out Janko Tipsarevic, Viktor Troicki and then Philipp Petzschner 7-6, 7-5 in the semi-finals.

Berrer has been serving well and that should make the match a little bit interesting but it would be a huge, huge shock if he comes close to beating Cilic who has been striking the ball off the ground better than at any stage in his career prior to now.

Cilic is 1/7 favourite with Stan James while Berrer is a massive outsider at 11/2 with bet365.
