Janko Tipsarevic is the fifth seed in Zagreb.

Tipsarevic is an outsider for the title this week, always a dangerous player indoors. He has had a reasonable start to the year, making the semi-finals in Chennai and then losing a five setter to Tommy Haas in the second round of the Australian Open.

He plays Michael Berrer who is ranked thirty places lower at 65 in the rankings. Berrer comes into this tournament on good form having just won a challenger in Germany. Berrer has a good serve and from the back of the court he is a bit of a hacker, junks it around and does not do too much with the ball but is very fast and has good hands on passing shots.

Tipsarevic has played him once before on the ATP Tour, winning 7-6, 6-1 last year.

Tipsarevic is a 4/9 favourite with Sky Bet while Berrer is 2/1 for the upset with bet365
