The order of play for Tuesday’s action for the ATP World Tour Finals is as follows;
Afternoon session – 12:15pm
Singles – Roger Federer v Andy Murray
Doubles – Lukas Dlouhy & Leander Paes v Jurgen Melzer & Philipp Petzschner
Evening session – 6:15pm
Singles – Robin Soderling v David Ferrer

In the first singles game on Tuesday, Roger Federer is up against Andy Murray. This could be one of the highlights of the tournament, as both players have been tipped for big things this week. Murray will benefit from the backing of the home crowd, and has an 8-5 head-to-head record against Federer. Even so, the World No. 2 has been in top form recently, and will also fancy his chances here.
Robin Soderling and David Ferrer meet in the second singles game on Tuesday. Both players need to win to stand a good chance of qualifying, so this should be a fiercely contested match. Soderling entered this tournament off of the back of an impressive Paris Masters success, but was outclassed by Andy Murray in his first match. Ferrer, meanwhile, was swept aside by Roger Federer in his opener.
In the first doubles match of the day, Lukas Dlouhy and Leander Paes are up against Jurgen Melzer and Philipp Petzschner. Both of these pairings lost their opening matches, and will be looking for a way back into this tournament. In the second doubles meeting, the Bryan brothers will face Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski. Both sides won their opening matches in straight sets, and will be aiming to maximize their chances of making the final four.
