London plays host to the top eight players in the world once again as the ATP World Tour Finals gets underway on November 20th.

Five-time champion Roger Federer goes in as favourite having won back to back titles in Basel and Paris but as ever at this event there's no easy matches and Federer is in Group B alongside Rafael Nadal, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Mardy Fish.

Federer has an outstanding record against Fish but Tsonga has beaten him a couple of times already this year and will be out for revenge after losing convincingly to the Swiss in the Paris final. Federer's struggles with Nadal have been well documented but its fair to say that for once he owns the Spaniard at this event, having beaten him three times over the years.

Group A is equally intriguing and a lot will depend on how fit Novak Djokovic is. The Serb has been struggling with his inflamed shoulder over the past fortnight and he looked well short of his best in Paris before withdrawing ahead of the quarter-finals. Djokovic appears resigned to the fact that he won't be 100% in London but Andy Murray, David Ferrer and Tomas Berdych will all be taking no prisoners.

Murray was the man to beat in October, reeling off a hat-trick of titles on the Asian indoor swing. He had his bubble burst in Paris, losing in three sets to his nemesis Berdych and their group match here will be intriguing.

Ferrer struggled at this event last year, losing all three of his matches and looking a little lightweight in the process. However you write off the Spaniard at your peril, he made the final of this event four years ago and is very much capable of repeating the feat.
