Baghdatis has an opportunity that he needs to make the most of.

Recently Marcos Baghdatis hasn't been playing a lot of tour level events.  Instead he has been having his way with the competition at the challenger level: he took down Vancouver in August, and more recently he took down both St. Remy and Tashkent.  His victims in those tournaments were usually players ranked 100 or worse.

While none of those tournaments are very impressive victories perhaps there is something in the fact that he won all three.

However, Baghdatis does not have any great victories on tour even in individual matches except for his first round victory over Juan Carlos Ferrero in Stockholm.  A lucky draw where the top two seeds have to bail out is exactly the type of opportunity that Baghdatis needs to pick up a respectable tour title.

Head to head Baghdatis and Rochus have played one time and that was a while ago now, back in 2006.  Baghdatis prevailed in Rome on clay in straight sets 7-5, 6-4.

If Rochus was about 9 inches taller he would probably be an awesome player on tour.  Things as they are he's only 5'6" and he won't be growing 9 inches any time soon.  At this point in his career Rochus rarely does well enough to earn a match against a player ranked in the top 70 and when he does it is almost a sure loss.

Rochus seems like a nice guy but our recommendation is to pound Baghdatis to win the final over Rochus with bet365 who offer a price of -225 (4/9) for Baghdatis to win.
