Today's semi-final action from the ATP Memphis Open looks certain to provide us with yet another day of exciting tennis

Play will begin with Mardy Fish, the No. 3 seed, attempting to reach his first ATP Memphis Open final. Fish will be hoping to finally get beyond the semi's in this competition, having gotten this far twice before in his career. That said he faces an unusual challenge today in the form of Milos Raonic. Seemingly out of nowhere, Raonic has astonished tennis fans worldwide with his recent performances, racking up two consecutive wins against Fernando Verdasco and claiming the ATP San Jose title. The Raonic serve is a huge weapon, and Fish will need to produce one of his better performances to eliminate the rising star.

In the second singles semi-final, Andy Roddick will face Juan Martin Del Potro. Roddick has lost all three of his previous matchups with Del Potro, though on two occasions he's come close to edging a victory. As the No. 1 seed this week, Roddick will no doubt strive to ensure that he can finally get the better of the Argentine. Del Potro has enjoyed a good run of form in recent weeks, and he appears to be back to his pre-injury best. He seems to have every chance of winning this competition, though he's still got a lot of work to do.

The mens doubles semi-finals will also take place today. In the first match, Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor will face the pairing of Mark Knowles and Michal Mertinak. In the second semi-final, Eric Butorac and Jean-Julien Royer are up against Kevin Anderson and Ashley Fisher.
