Michael Llodra is bidding to repeat his final appearance of 2009 when he takes on Mischa Zverev in Marseille later today.

It has been a refreshingly successful week for the serve-volleyers with both Llodra and Zverev liking to get forward as much as possible particularly indoors.
Llodra caused the upset of the tournament when he defeated Robin Soderling 7-6, 6-4 in the quarter-finals. It is turning into a fine week for the Frenchman who also defeated Marcos Baghdatis in straight sets earlier in the tournament. The run has really come out of nowhere for Llodra after a string of bad results.
Zverev has benefited more from a very kind draw. The only seed in his section was Tommy Robredo, not particularly a fan of fast indoor courts and Zverev took him out in three sets. In the quarter-finals he defeated French wildcard Guillaume Rufin 7-5, 6-7, 6-3.
Llodra has more of an all-court game than Zverev and it should see him into the final. He has also beaten the German in both their previous matches winning 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 in Metz in the autumn.
