Andreas Seppi is top seed for this week's Kitzbuhel challenger.

Seppi is another player who has been in fine form over the past month on the clay and clearly fancies filling his boots on the dirt a little more before hitting the hard courts so he's stepped down  a level.

The Italian is the world number 55 and is ranked comfortably higher than anyone else in the field. He beat Jurgen Melzer on the way to the Umag semi-finals last week and also made the last four in Hamburg.

Uruguay's Pablo Cuevas could challenge him. The third seed made the quarters of Bastad last month but he has a tough first round against Marek Semjan who's just made a clay-court challenger final in Russia. 

Anyone looking for a blast from the past, look no further than Gaston Gaudio. The Argentine's star has fallen pretty low since his memorable French Open triumph back in 2004. Gaudio's subsequent demise has been quite astonishing and he is not even seeded for this event.
