The Gerry Weber Open semifinals are set for Saturday as two German players remain in the hunt for the Halle title.
Philipp Kohlschreiber and Philipp Petzschner have an opportunity to set up an all-German final this week at the Gerry Weber Open.
They will each need to knock out a high seed if they are to do that with Kohlschreiber facing Gael Monfils and Petzschner facing Tomas Berdych.
