Djokovic has been far from his best all week, just doing enough to somehow find a way through his matches. Again he dropped the opening set against Croatia’s Ivan Ljubicic and was being thoroughly outplayed until Ljubicic played a sloppy game at 4-5 to gift Djokovic the second set and then the top seed ran away to secure a 2-6, 6-4, 6-0 win.

Baghdatis was rarely troubled once he had won a tight first set against Germany’s Michael Berrer and won 7-6, 6-1 to reach the last four.

Djokovic has a great record against Baghdatis, their games match up very well for the Serb who plays in a similar style but with just a little more firepower and Baghdatis does not seem to be playing quite well enough this week to change that. They have had three fairly close matches but Djokovic has taken all of them.

Djokovic’s price at 3/10 with bet365 is not great though so it may be worth backing Baghdatis at 12/5 also with bet365, in case the Serb has an off day.
