Machado, the world No. 80, is aiming to win his fifth Challenger Tour title of the year. He stands out as the biggest threat to Bellucci, though Martin Klizan, another player here ranked inside the top hundred, could also be a threat.
Germany are well represented with the trio of Beck, Bachinger and Stebe all looking to cause a stir. Beck and Bachinger are both experienced at this level, whereas Stebe is an exciting youngster, who looks set to feature in the top hundred in years to come.
Sela dropped down to the Challenger Circuit on a number of occasions this year in order to boost his ranking and find some form. Sela, a former world No. 29, could prove to be a real contender.
Reynolds, who won two Challenger titles this year, will want to make a good impression this week. The 29 year-old has two runner-up showings to his name as well, and he made the semi-finals of two other Challenger events this year.
