The Grand Prix Hassan II gets underway this week in Casablanca with Stanislas Wawrinka leading the field.

World number 23 Wawrinka is a formidable clay court player and beat Roland Garros champion Roger Federer on the red dirt during last spring’s clay-court swing. Having beaten Nicolas Almagro over five sets in the Davis Cup earlier this year he’s still in fine form on the clay.
Wawrinka is seeking his second ATP title this week and at 7/4 with bet365 to go all the way he’s good value in this weak field. He is the only player in the tournament ranked inside the top 40.
Richard Gasquet is also competing and is 5/1 second favourite with bet365 but he comes up against seventh seed Olivier Rochus in the first round. Rochus who beat him recently in Miami so backing Gasquet may not be a wise move.
Guillermo Garcia-Lopez is seeded second and could be one to watch this week having reached the Indian Wells fourth round recently, upsetting Marin Cilic along the way.
