The indoor season has just a few weeks left on the challenger circuit. You can watch the action in Athens this week live for free at bet365.
It's a strong field for a challenger with top seed and world number 65 Ben Becker looking to pick up some confidence boosting wins. He may be the highest ranked player by far in the field but Becker's form in 2011 has been very poor and he is by no means the clear favourite.
The smart bet could be to back second seed Dmitry Tursunov to go all the way. Tursunov already has two challenger titles to his name (prevailing a couple of weeks ago in Bath) and has moved back into the top 100. One of the most ferocious ball-strikers around, the fast decoturf surface will suit his game.
Watch out for unseeded French veteran Stephane Robert who has a proven track record at this level. Robert was in the top 100 this time last year and even made an ATP final in South Africa and he has enjoyed some impressive results at challenger level in 2011, reaching the final of a hard court event in Guadeloupe last month.
Third seed Dudi Sela was ranked as high as 29 a couple of years ago and has beaten the likes of Andy Roddick in the past but things have not quite worked out recently for the prodigiously talented Israeli. His class should take him a long way this week though.
