Andy Murray was among the winners in Rome on Tuesday in a day that saw no seeded players falter in the men's draw.
The Rome Masters played out several first and second round matches on Tuesday and the day saw six seeded players march into the next round.
Andy Murray, Robin Soderling, Tomas Berdych, and Nicolas Almagro were the players in the ATP's top 10 who survived the day while perhaps Thomaz Bellucci, a semifinalist from last week in Madrid, suffered the biggest upset as Italy's Paolo Lorenzi eliminated the Brazilian in straight sets.
