Nadal won on Wednesday in what was only a moderately challenging match against Djokovic.

Rafael Nadal is 2-0 in Group A at the 2010 ATP World Tour Finals as the Spaniard defeated Novak Djokovic on Wednesday 7-5, 6-2. The match lasted only 1 hour and 52 minutes with the majority of the play taking place in the first set.

Djokovic, due to the result, now falls to 1-1 at the year end event for the ATP Tour.  With only an ineffective Roddick to contest in the round robin, Djokovic looks strong to make the semifinals still. Roddick is 0-2 at the World Tour Finals and while most were not surprised to see him lose to Nadal earlier in the tournament, today's loss to Tomas Berdych was not expected.

Nadal's final match in the group stage will be against Berdych, a player who is 1-1 and who is still in realistic contention of making the semifinals as well. The two have not met since Nadal beat Berdych in the final for Wimbledon 2010.

Thursday's action will feature Group B matches as Roger Federer faces Robin Soderling while David Ferrer faces Andy Murray.
