The draw-sheet is not yet available but the format of the tournament is known and here's how it works.

The field of 8 is split into two groups of 4 and each group plays a round robin.  The top two players from each group advance to the semifinals with the top player in each group playing the 2nd player from the other group.

From that point on it is just straight elimination with the winner crowned the world champion.

The reigning world champion is Nikolay Davydenko however this season the Russian has drifted on tour and he is now out at a ranking of 22nd.  Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are the favorites to win the title but certainly Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, and Robin Soderling are considered to be impact players as well.

The 2010 ATP World Tour Finals will start next week and they will take place from London, England.
