With the Australian Open 2012 in the business side of the tournament, the quality of the matches is incredible. Roger Federer v Rafael Nadal is the encounter we were hoping would be the final of this first Grand Slam of the 2012 season, but a semi-final between these two legends is just as exciting.
Victoria Azarenka and Maria Sharapova both made it through their semi-finals today. They both dropped the second set to their opponents Kim Clijsters and Petra Kvitova, but secured convincing wins to give them the well deserved ticket to the 2012 final of the Australian Open.
