The Australian Open semi-finals get underway on Thursday but who are you expecting to get through to the final ?
Roger Federer takes on Rafael Nadal in the first of the men's semi-finals on Thursday. It's a hotly anticipated match and Nadal is great value at
7/5 with bet365. Federer may have not dropped a set all tournament but when he played Nadal in Abu Dhabi a couple of weeks ago, the Spaniard won easily in straight sets. Remember, Federer may hold the edge indoors but he's not beaten his great rival on outdoor hard courts since the Miami Masters way back in 2005.
And as for Novak Djokovic against Andy Murray, the odds for Djokovic are predictably low and it's definitely worth backing Murray in this one. Ok, the Brit did get thumped in the final last year but he's a much better player in semi-finals and already it seems like there's a lot more purpose to his game with Ivan Lendl in his corner. Djokovic looked shaky against Lleyton Hewitt and appeared to have struggling with a tight hamstring and breathing problems against David Ferrer.

As for the women's semi-finals, there's some more opportunities out there. Defending champion Kim Clijsters should definitely be snapped up at 21/20 with bet365 to beat Victoria Azarenka. Azarenka may have dropped just one set so far but she's never made a Grand Slam final and that's a huge step to take.
And 2008 champion Maria Sharapova looked ominously good in the quarter-finals and she could well get the better of the often erratic Petra Kvitova. Sharapova could be worth taking at 7/2 to win the title with bet365.
