Viktor Troicki faces Lukasz Kubot for the fourth time on tour at the Monte-Carlo Masters.

Troicki has won all four of his previous matches against Kubot, two at challenger level and two on the ATP tour. However the Pole has steadily marched up the rankings, following Troicki into the top 50 and the last two have been very close.
Troicki only just came out on top in a five setter at Roland Garros last year and it was close again when he won 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 in Doha at the start of the year.
Kubot started his clay season early in Casablanca last week, making the quarters before getting mauled 6-1, 6-0 by Potito Starace.
