The 8/13 favourite heads into the match against Simone Bolelli at 1/500 with the Italian chalked up at 40/1, however this hasn't stopped some punters fancying his chances with one staking 10p on a Bolelli win, returning just £4.10.

Andy Murray looks set to cruise past Tatsuma Ito (12/1) at 1/50 on Tuesday, however since the tournament started his chances of winning have drifted out to 28/1 (from 25/1).

Roger Federer avoided any early scares by beating Tobias Kamke in straight sets, leaving him at 8/1 in the market to left this year's trophy, and should he do so the firm will refund losing outright singles.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "It's hard to see how any of the outsiders will defy the odds in such an early stage of the tournament. Our 10p Bolelli punter will be wishing they put more on him if he causes one of the biggest upsets in Grand Slam tennis ever."
