Former champion Marcos Baghdatis opens his Zagreb Indoors account against Czech Lukas Rosol.
It's Baghdatis' first match since his infamous meltdown at the Australian Open which saw him smash four rackets during a four set second round defeat to Stanislas Wawrinka. Baghdatis' frustration was obvious, after enjoying a fine patch of early season form (he had defeated Kei Nishikori and Juan Martin Del Potro in Brisbane and Sydney) he was livid at his inability to perform on the biggest stage.
However he's got plenty of good memories from Zagreb. He won the title five years ago, knocking out defending champion Ivan Ljubicic in three sets in the final.
Rosol is the world number 69 and has a monster serve but seems to enjoy his best spells on clay. Bizarrely for a man with such a big delivery, he lost five of his six matches during the autumn.
Baghdatis should have few problems making it through to the quarter-finals where he could be set for an intriguing clash against last year's surprise champion - Ivan Dodig.
Prediction: Baghdatis in two.
