Janko Tipsarevic takes on Canada's Milos Raonic in the final of the Chennai Open on Sunday.
Tipsarevic will have to be at his very best to see off the bullet-like serve of Raonic. The Canadian has not dropped a set all week and he smashed 17 aces on the way to a 6-4, 6-4 win over world number 10 Nicolas Almagro.
At his best Raonic is one of the best hard-court players in the game and his serve was clocking speeds past 135mph in Saturday's semi-finals. Add to that, a booming forehand and Almagro was struggling to live with him.
Tipsarevic outclassed Go Soeda 6-1, 6-4 but seeing off the world number 120 in straight sets was never going to be quite as impressive. The Serb produced a much improved performance from his sluggish display in the quarters against David Goffin but if Raonic comes out and lands 78% first serves as he did against Almagro, Tipsarevic will need to return out his skin and just try to hang in there.
Raonic is into his first ATP final since Memphis last February and he'll be hoping to pick up the second ATP title of his career. On Saturday's performance, it would take a brave man to bet against him.
Prediction: Raonic in two.
