Andy Murray faces a tough quarter-final clash against Marcos Baghdatis in Brisbane on ThursdayYou can watch and bet on Murray v Baghdatis live for free at bet365 > live tennisAndy Murray survived a big scare in the second round of the Brisbane International, seeing off the threat of Luxembourg’s Gilles Muller to clinch a 4-6, 7-6(4), 6-0 success. Muller’s serve was predictably ferocious, but once Murray found his rhythm early in the third there was only one possible outcome. Murray will now take on Marcos Baghdatis for a place in the final four.
"I felt I moved better in the second and third sets and that's such a big part of my game,” explained Murray after his encounter with Muller. "I was happy to get the win -- the more matches I can get this week, the better. I thought once I got into the baseline rallies I felt good but he served very well, especially for the first couple of sets and I just managed to hang in."
Baghdatis should be ready for Murray. The Cypriot has a history of doing well in Australia, and he showed some superb form in round two to defy fifth seed Kei Nishikori (6-3, 6-4). Baghdatis is looking to play aggressive tennis this year, and it will be interesting to see how Murray deals with his new approach.
