The 2013 SAP Open in San Jose runs from February 11th-17th and Milos Raonic will be aiming to claim a hat-trick of titles.
Raonic has ruled supreme in San Jose over the past couple of years, announcing himself to the tennis world with his 2011 triumph and claiming his third career title there in 2012.
The big serving Canadian's game is tailor-made to the quick indoor surface laid in San Jose and opponents have simply been unable to handle the barrage of aces coming at them.
Andy Roddick has been a regular in San Jose over the past decade and the veteran will surely be back to try and win a fourth title. Roddick won in 2004, 2005 and 2008 but in recent years the likes of Andy Murray and Fernando Verdasco have got in the way and in 2012 his body simply broke down in his opening match and he limped out at the quarter-final stage.
In the future American hopes may soon rest with Ryan Harrison. The teenager enjoyed an impressive run in 2012, reaching the semi-finals before running into Raonic. Harrison isn't afraid to mix things up and loves coming forward and in a few years we may well be seeing his name on the trophy.
